冴えない浪人生が一目惚れしたバーガーショップの店員は、実は北朝鮮の女スパイだった…という筋立て。作品の空気感は「猟奇的な彼女」にかなり近い。南北問題の重いテーマが嫌味にならない程度にポップに仕上がっていて展開＋テンポもいい。ハリウッドコピーのアクション活劇や、お涙頂戴の韓国ドラマを見すぎたせいか、このテイストは非常に新鮮。ドジでキュートな女工作員を演じるキム・ジョンファはルックスも◎で、役柄にはまっている。素晴らしい出来栄えなのに宣伝が控えめだったのは拉致問題等のナイーブな話とのカラミか！？ラストも微笑ましく、続編が見たくなる爽やかな青春ラブコメディーです。

軽い調子のラブ＆コメディに始まり、次第に感傷的な切ない物語へと変化していく韓国映画の典型ともいえる展開。ドタバタコメディあり、アクションシーンあり、ファンタジー場面も出てくるという、観ていてイロイロな楽しみ方が出来ます。
南北問題や徴兵制度も深刻にならない程度の味付けで、作品を構成する重要な要素になっています。いかにもありそうな北の工作員達の実態（？）には、思わず笑いが。
美味しい場面を詰め込みすぎて、コメディかシリアスか分かりにくいところはありますが、作品全体を通して貫かれているのはヒロイン役のキム・ジョンファの魅力。スパイに見えるかどうかはともかく、けなげで一生懸命さが伝わってくるヒロイン像に惹きつけられること間違いなしです。
ラストシーンの彼女は最高に美しいし、哀しいけれど清々しい結末に拍手を贈りたい物語です。

朝鮮半島には南北問題という暗い影が現実にありますが,この作品のような切り口で南北問題に触れた作品は珍しいと思います。
重苦しくなりそうなテーマを軽快なタッチのラブコメに仕立てました。
ドラマは北の工作員としてスパイ活動をする女性（キム・ジョンファ）と彼女に恋する浪人生（コン・ユ）が織り成すユーモラスなラブコメです。
韓国には「ナムナムプンニョ＝南男北女」という言葉があります。日本で言う「東男に京女」といった類で,南の男が男らしくて，北の女性が美しいという意味なのですが，まさにこの作品にぴったりの言葉です。この作品ではコン・ユはダメキャラを演じていますけが，なかなかいい男ですよね。
エンディングは「結局二人はどうなってしまうの？」といううやむやな形になっていますが，あえてハッピーエンドにしなかったところがむしろいいですね。
私的にはグーな作品だと思うけど,韓国では何故かあまりヒットしなかったんだって。軽すぎたのかな？
