近藤真彦のファンを自認するそのアーティストは多彩で個性的な顔ぶれが揃った。

デビュー25周年だそうだ。　私はこの自分と同い年の歌手近藤真彦のファンである、というようなことはないが、こうして並べてみて、ほとんどの曲を口ずさめることには驚いた。　歌詞を見てもその内容は一貫して「ストレートな男の心情を吐露する」 という内容のものでブレも少ないが楽曲としてワンパターンというわけでもない。　ジャニーズのプロデュースが巧みだったということもあろうが、25年変わらぬスタンスでやってきたと言う意味では充分、トリビュートされて然るべきアーティストなのかも知れない。

いまやジャニーズを背負って立つマッチこと近藤真彦のトリビュートアルバム。
参加アーティストはジャニーズの後輩、東山紀之、赤坂晃、堂本光一、今井翼を
はじめ、マッチファンのアーティストとしてSOPHIAの松岡充、PUFFYの
吉村由美、高橋瞳などの異色豪華メンバーが参加していて聞き応えあり。
ヒット曲ばかりなのでカラオケでも歌えます。

予想通りすばらしい出来です。
アンダルシアに憧れて等、感情たっぷりに歌われていますよ。
ただ、一つマイナス点が
それは、最終楽曲のグループ魂のくどさですね。
ウケなんていらないのに、騒いでいるだけ。
マッチの素晴らしさが打ち消されてしまうくらいの騒々しさです。
その点が、マイナスではないかな。
