「君の住む、美し都」

東京に住んでいない人にしかわからない曲かもしれません。

地方に住んでいると、東京へ出て行くことの意味が、いろいろありますが、
この曲はその一つを描写していると思います。

彼がよく歌っていました。
私は、用事で東京に行ったことがあるくらいで、暮らしたことはないので、東京の日常の空気が
どのようなものか全くわかりません。
先日も、新幹線から新幹線の乗り換えにあわただしく東京駅を利用した程度。
人それぞれに貴重な思い出があるわけで、「このひとは東京で、よい青春時代を過ごし、限りなく
懐かしいのだろう…」そう思いながら、好きなひとの横顔を見つめていた私です。
