実は無数にあったであろうプライベート盤、そのうちの１枚が何かのはずみで発掘・再発された。そういった作品ですけど、内容は悪くないと思います。発掘の進んでいる英国フォークでいえば、一連のイサカ系列の作品やSHIDE AND ACORNなどに通じる、ちょっと輪郭のぼけたポップさが持ち味で、アシッド／サイケ風味がきつくないので聞きやすい部類に入るでしょう。「渚にて」の柴山伸二氏がライナーを書いていますが、彼の音楽が好きな人なら聞いてもガッカリしないと思います。音質はモコモコなのでそのつもりで。

基本的には、音楽素人の夫婦がなんとなく作ったレコードですから、
演奏の素晴らしさとかは期待しない方が良いと思います。
特に、ドラムのリズムはめちゃくちゃです。
帯に「原石状態のスラップハッピーだ！」と書いてありますが、
スラップハッピーのように分かりやすくも、上手くもないです。

例えて言うなら、テレビで、畑でとれたキャベツをベッキー達がその場でかじって
「うまい！」と言ってましたが、まさにあのような感覚ですね。
一般の音楽会社からリリースされえない、加工前の音楽がここにあります。

たくさんのレコードを聞き込んで、作りこんだサウンドに飽き飽きした人にのみ、
オススメできます。きっと、和めるでしょう。
一般の方は、お腹をこわすので止めた方が無難かと。
