今 改めてこのデビュー作を聴くと
いかに彼が当時のＥＬＥＣのフォーク路線とは独自の世界を確立していたのか
よく判る。
冒頭の「僕の唄」のクールな孤立感。
「散歩T」の独特の才気溢れるメロディライン。
時代と所属レーベルがほんの少し異なっていたら・・・と思うと残念な反面
知る人ぞ知る存在になった彼の音楽世界に静かに触れる自分がとても幸せでもある。

おそらく当時のわが国のフォーク・ロックムーブメントの中にあって
もっとも音楽センスが良く、歌心を持ったアーチストだったのだと確信した。

ＭＡＸの演奏、アレンジはさすがに時代を感じてしまうのはご愛嬌。

幻となった彼の唄う「泳げたいやき君」
やはりこの切ない鼻にかかった歌声で大ヒットしてもらいたかったなぁ。。。
