鈴木達央さん、新谷良子さんに楽曲を提供しているＲ・Ｏ・Ｎさんの待望のファースト・アルバム!!
表題曲の『promise』もさることながら、4曲目の『(Why I'm right here) with you』は今まで楽曲提供してきた鈴木達央さんの『yesterdays』や『VOICE』に通じる優し気な雰囲気を持っていて、それぞれの楽曲に緩急がついており聞いていて飽きない1枚に仕上がっていると思います。
4曲のRemixもRemixという枠にとらわれず、ガラッと印象も変わって10トラックそのまま楽しめるので聞き応え満点です！

私は声優さん関係からこのアルバムに辿り着いたのではなく、彼の友人に、騙されたと思って買ってみて！と言われ、買ったのがきっかけ。ここで言えるのは、声優さん関係の方ではなくて、むしろ、mixtureやrockが好きな方なら、まず期待以上になるだろうと思います。
１曲目のpromiseはもちろん、中盤のメロディアスな曲、piecesなどのきれいなバラード、４曲のリミックスなど、バラエティーに富んでいます。随所随所に、ピアノのきれいな響きがあるのが印象的。彼にしか作れない曲なのではないでしょうか。
６曲＋リミックス４曲ですが、リミックスはまるで違う曲のように楽しめるので、10曲入りのフルアルバムのような感じがします。

数々なアーティストに楽曲を提供してきた『Ｒ・Ｏ・Ｎ』にとって初となる、自分自身のデビュー・アルバムです！
激しい重低音の効いたロックナンバーから、スッと流れるようなミディアム・ポップな曲まで楽しめます。
これからの『Ｒ・Ｏ・Ｎ』の飛躍を予感させる出来になっています。
カッコイイ曲を聴きたいと思っている方にぜひオススメです！！
