彼の声とセンスは本当に素晴らしい。
このアルバムを聴いて惚れ直した。シビレるとはこのこと。
どの曲も田島貴男のオリジナルといってもおかしくない。
特に「青い鳥」はサイコー。セクシーで懐かしくて、やられた。
彼の昔のアルバムも日々聴いているが、今回をきっかけにこれまでの
アルバムを総動員して田島ワールドに浸る日々。
いつまでも古くならない彼の楽曲には頭がさがる。
お気に入りの一枚が増えて、こんな幸せなことはない。

いつかは出ると思っていましたが、とうとう出ましたカバー曲集！

タイトルからはわからなくても、聴いてみればどれもどこかで
聴いた曲ばかり。
しかも、いつのまにかあの曲もこの曲も、日本語で歌っている
自分に気づく。どこか変な気分だけど、これが気持ちイイ。

オールディーズのカバーばかりだから、当然音数は少なく、
アレンジはスカスカ。でも、それがかっこいい！
インディーズで出た最初のアルバムを思いおこさせます。
ドラムとベースとギターだけでも、十分すぎるぐらいロック！

田島さんって、歌だけでなく、ギター弾いてもかっこいいのね。
参りました。

まず選曲がステキ。単純なのに、音楽のいちばん愛らしいところをつかまえた曲ばかりを選んだね。
日本語詞は大胆なアイディアだけど、正解。歌の感情がまっすぐ伝わってくる。
演奏はシンプルで骨太で、ベストコンディションのライブを見てるみたい。
そしてなにより印象的なのは、やっぱり田島さんの歌。力強くてやさしくてセンチメンタルで…ほんとに魅力的な歌い手だと思う。
田島さんフィルターを通りぬけて、一曲一曲、ぴっちぴちに生まれ変わってる。熱くて切なくて、胸がきゅっとなるアルバム！
