ギターのベンが音楽性の違いで脱退・・

それも分かる気がするほど前作２００万枚を売り上げたオーシャンアベニューとは全く別物の作品に仕上がっています。

自分はベンが好きだったし、オーシャンアベニューという作品が大好きだったので今回のアルバムは・・まあ肩透かしを食らった感じですが、駄作ではないです。

グリーンデイがかつて、ただのパンクバンドからスケールを超えたパンクロックバンドに変貌したようにこのイエローカードも変革の過程にあるのか・・真実を見届けるのがファンの役目でしょう。

スペシャルエディションのＤＶＤはアルバムのレコーディング風景からＰＶ撮影風景、ライブパフォーマンスまで・・なかなかのボリュームです。

３月に来日する彼らがどんなパフォーマンスをするか是非その目で確かめてみては・・・？（チケットは余裕があるようですよ♪）

全曲、ほんとに大好きなアルバムです。

ますます艶っぽさをました、ヴォーカルのライアンの歌声が心を捉えて放さない。
何処までも伸びやかな、澄んだ美しいライアンの歌声と、確かな演奏が、真っ直ぐに胸に響きます。
ライアンの描く、甘くせつない詩的な歌詞と、ヴァイオリンとオーケストラの音色、そしてバンド・サウンドが見事に溶け合っていて、素晴らしい。
疾走感、溢れる曲では、力強い歌声が、心を解放してくれます。

Yellowcardの可能性を教えてくれる一枚です。
これから高い評価を得ていくアルバムだと感じます。

2ndがあるからこそ、3rdに、これからに繋がる、本当に、とても良いアルバムです。

特典のDVDは、たっぷり一時間あって、充実しています！
Liveの様子や、メンバーのoff shot がとっても楽しい。
photo集も、すごく良いです！

バラード系の曲が多く、疾走感あふれる曲は少なく自分としては少し残念な気が。それだけ前作の印象が強すぎたのかなと思います。が、曲はどれも良いものばかりでライアンのヴォーカル、ショーンのヴァイオリンなどイエローカードの成長、進化ぶりが伺える一作となっています。
特典のＤＶＤはレコーディング風景やインタビューや「ライツアンドサウンズ」のＰＶやライブ映像が収録されていますが、ＰＶとライブ映像もっと入れてほしかった。サマソニのときのとか。
お勧め曲は「ライツアンドサウンズ」と「ラフ・ランディング・ホーリー」です。
