このCDのポイント。
＊ごく最近の曲が聴ける「落花流水」「初めて・・」「Days」「赤い花」「The Heat」「華」
＊ヒット曲を新録で聴ける「DESIRE」「少女A」「北ウィング」「十戒」「1/2の神話」
その他は'05バージョンでアレンジを変えているのでそれもまた魅力。
昔ファンだった人も、今のファンも楽しめると思います。
「落花流水」のカップリングに新録でとった「DESIRE」もなかなかかっこいい。
「落花流水」は、明菜の得意な純日本風が漂うような曲に仕上がっています。
「初めて出逢った日のように」は「All in」の主題歌でパク・ヨンハさんが歌った曲のカバーです。「赤い花」はそれをアレンジと歌詞を変えたものです。明菜には「赤い花」が似合うように思うけど二曲の違いを楽しむのにいいですね。全然違う曲のように思えます。
明菜を身近に感じることができるCDです。これを聴いて新しいファンもできるといいですね。

今までのBEST版の中で１番アレンジをあまり加えていない
原曲を生かした感じのBEST版です。
それを現在の明菜さんが歌っているので２度美味しいです＾＾
出来ればすべての曲を歌い直して聴きたかったですが
『初めて出逢った日のように ・ 赤い花 ・ The Heat ・ 落下流水』
など近作の曲達も同時に聴ける所がいいですね♪
逆に当時の明菜さんの歌声でも聴きたくなる不思議なBEST版です♪
歌いなおしてある『北ウイング』は当時のままかと思う位変わっていません。
流石です！！

中森明菜自身の５本の指にどれも入るほどのセレクションと言い切ってリリースされたこのベストアルバム。明菜さん公認のベストって実は少ないんですよね。
内容は８０年代のヒット曲の新録と９５年のベストアルバムからのチョイスそして２００２年にユニバーサルに移籍してからのシングル。
９０年代が抜けているのが残念。版権とかいろいろあるのでしょうか。

この１枚のアルバムのたった１７曲で中森明菜という歌手を理解するには無謀というものだが今の彼女って「あ〜、こういう歌うたっているんだ」と感じるには最適なアルバムであると思う。また８０年代のヒット曲と２１世紀以降の曲がうまく並べられており、その楽曲の多彩さに気づかされる。
年輪を経て、人生のキャリアが歌に滲み出ているそんなアルバムであると思う。
