成人の儀式として五つのシャリネを巡礼する少年少女のストーリー。
主人公ジュリオとクリスの伸び伸びとした性格と、各地で善意に満ちた人たちとの出会いや楽しいミニイベントは、せちがらい世の中を生きる現代人にとっては一服の清涼剤だと思う。

敵であっても何らかの理由があるため、ただ完全超悪のストーリーでは無いので好感が持てる。
ただ、誰かの犠牲を強いる世界を正当化する所は納得がいかなかった。

戦闘は自動で進むので、本を読みながらでもプレイできる。
レベル上げもさほど辛いものではなく、誰でもできる所も良い。
クリアさえしなければこれほど心が休まるゲームはないかもしれない。

日本ファルコムの代表作の一つ、英雄伝説ガガーブ3部作の1作目、白き魔女です。
RPGの要素は薄いものの、シナリオが優れていてクリアした時に温かい気持ちに包まれます。
主人公は田舎の小さな村に住む、ごく普通の少年ジュリオと幼馴染の少女クリス。
彼らは大人になる巡礼の儀式のため、世界を旅する事になります。
その中で様々な出会いと経験を通して彼らが成長していく物語です。
基本的に旅する事自体が目的なのでかなりほのぼのとしています。
物語後半にならないとシリアスな展開が殆どありませんね。
シナリオの都合上、3部作をプレイする場合はこの白き魔女からプレイされる事をおすすめします。
