これがヒットしていた当時は「ケッ、こんな軟弱で薄味な粗悪音楽を聴けるか」とラジオから流れてくると消してしまうほど嫌っていた。
こういう音楽に惹かれる自分を否定していたことが今ではよくわかる。

寛容さとは、年齢を重ねることで得られる数少ない事柄のひとつだ。今はこの音楽を単に懐かしいというだけではなく、身をゆだねるようにして聴いている。

それにしても、あれからもう25年も過ぎているとは……ぼくはどっかで時間をワープしたんじゃないかなあ。
