“DISCO DIVA”と呼ばれる女性アーティストは
古今東西多数存在します。

さて、あえて順位を付けさせていただくならば、
史上最高(最強)の“DISCO DIVA”といえば
このDonna Summer 以外にいないでしょう。

彼女は70年代中期ドイツ・ミュンヘンサウンドに始まり
70年代後期から80年代は全米ビルボードで大活躍、そして80年代後期から90年代は
ユーロビート⇒ハウスへと時代とジャンルを乗り越えて珠玉の名作を多数残しました。

このアルバムは Donna Summer が“Queen of Disco”たる所以を
再認識させてくれるテキストです。
