アニメの内容は前巻からの続き、原作の「R.O.MU 熱砂の天使」に
あたります。その完結編です。

原作では、サブタイトルにもなっている「イブリースシステム」が
物語の後半に発動し、町を破壊仕掛けるのを止めるということが物語の
根本です。
アニメ版では、そのシステムは名前が登場するだけで発動せず、
物語の根本は吸血鬼と人間が御互いのわだかまりを解消して協力しあう、
ということに焦点が置かれています。

物語の中核となるはずのイブリースシステムが出てこなくても
物語としては破綻していません。
原作との相違点がたくさんありますが、それを指摘していたら
きりが無いのでどこかで割り切ることが必要かと。
サブキャラもたくさん出てきてなかなか楽しいです。

しかし、ここで物語とは違った問題が。

今まで本編が二話収録のDVDとおまけCD（オリジナルドラマや声優陣に
よるオーディオコメンタリーなど）の二枚組みだったのですが、
ついにおまけCDがつかなくなってしまいました。
いままでの巻についていたタロットカードを入れるケースに置き換えられています。
さすがにこの仕様でこの値段はツラいでしょう。

もうひとつ。
おまけでついてくるジグソーパズルなのですが、
付属して来る巻の前の巻のDVDパッケージの裏面を絵柄にするのは辞めて欲しいです。
何の新鮮味も無い。
それで無くとも前の巻まではパッケージの裏面の絵柄、おまけCDの絵柄、
次巻のジグソーパズルの絵柄が全部同じという仕様だったのに。

この仕様はもう一度製作サイドに考えてもらいたい。
