自分は大のEMINEMファンで、今までのCDは全部購入してますが、その中でも一番濃く、そして黒い良盤だと思います。
とにかく選曲がヤバイ。流石、EMINEMといった所。
「ファンしか好きな曲しかないものもあれば、俺しか好きじゃない曲もあるんだ」というEMINEMの気持ちが熱く篭っている気がします。

中でも、新曲の「When I'm Gone」は聴いていて涙が出ます。
EMINEMが”EMINEM”になって失った者、EMINEMが”SLIM SHADY”を演じて失ったもの、それが熱く唄われている曲です。
プロモーションビデオもカッコよく、涙を誘います。

このベストアルバムの発売がきっかけで、引退説が流れているEMINEM。
元妻のKIMとヨリを戻す事にしたそうなので、娘ヘイリーとも仲良く暮らして欲しいです。

EMINEMの最後のリリースCDかもしれないので、必ず買いましょう。

ベストアルバムと言うのは物凄く良いかクソかどちらかだが、
このＣＤは非常に良いと思う。初心者でもファンでも楽しめる内容。
その理由は、エミネムショウからのコンセプトが引き継がれており、
新曲が3曲含まれているからだろう。
8mileの主題歌であるlose yourselfが入っているのも、
お得感を倍増させている。

で、まずは新曲3曲。
それぞれエミネムの一面を象徴的に表した曲になっている。
3.fackはエミネム必殺のダーティなフザケまくりソング。
ただ、the real slim shadyなどとは違いどこか自暴自棄な感じ。
7.shake thatはドープでカッコイイ。ある意味では意外。
16.when i'm goneも良い。
が、タイトルからして引退を匂わせている。

全体的なレビューとしては、
家族や彼女に聞かせられない程の歌は入っていないので聴きやすい。
(Fackは“u”じゃないから･･･)
どちらかと言えばコミカルサイドのナンバーが多く、
ハードコアやギャングスタな曲は印象が薄い。
(moshが入っていないのは残念。)
にも拘らずどんよりと暗い雰囲気が一貫して流れているのは、
stanが2回入っているからと言うだけではないはず。

彼が売れた理由は、『白人のくせにカッコいいラップ聞かせる』
と言うだけではない、と実感した。
むしろヒップホップの中ではマイノリティである白人だからこそ、
にじみ出る苦悩や哀しみが漂っている。
もし彼の引退宣言が本気なら実に惜しい、と思わせる内容。

「Stan」、エルトン･ジョンのフィーチャリングも違った雰囲気で、また歌のうまさが切なさを助長しているので、感情移入をしてしまいました。
若い声のエミネムと、渋くなったエミネムを同時に聴けるこの一枚、手に入れてよかったです。
「最初で最後のベスト」というＣＭコピーが気になるところです。
引退してほしくない・・・・
