   アクションスターのヴィン・ディーゼルが、コミカルな役に挑んだイ一作。この人には、もともとコメディアンの資質が備わっていることを、本作は証明している。米海軍特殊部隊のシェーン・ウルフが、要人である科学者の留守宅で、5人の子どもたちの面倒を看る任務を与えられる。軍隊仕込みのスパルタ教育を試みるシェーンに、子どもたちもそれぞれの方法で対抗。やがて両者は、固い絆で結ばれていくが、裏では科学者が隠すプログラムを巡り、危険な攻防も進行していく。
   コメディから、ハートウォーミングドラマ、さらにスリリングなアクションまで、いくつもの要素を詰め込んだ展開だが、それらが違和感なくまとまっている。設定から察するとおり、物語の下敷きは『サウンド・オブ・ミュージック』で、明らかなパロディやオマージュも多数登場。無理なく笑いを誘うのは、子役からペットのカモまで名演技をみせているからだろう。全く接点のなかった者同士が絆を育む物語を作らせると、ハリウッドは本当に上手いと唸らせる好例。大作のようなインパクトがあるわけではないが、娯楽映画としては十分、合格点だ。（斉藤博昭）

ディズニーらしいアメリカの良さがでた映画だと思う。子どもたちの演技も心憎いし、ところどころに爆笑シーンもあって楽しめます。ラストちかくでは、心にジーンとくるものもあります。子どもに見せるのもいいし、大人でも充分楽しめます。

この映画は去年、Hawaii旅行の帰りの飛行機で見ました。日本では去年10月公開でしたね。アクション映画が苦手な方にオススメですね。ヴィン・ディーゼルが次男のピーターに踊るダンスする姿が愛らしくて、ローレン・グレアムのアクションシーンはなかなか見れないのでよかった。しかもカワイイですし。Gilmoreを見られた方もこのローレンも見ても楽しいのではと思います。子供たちもすごくかわいらしく、最後あたりでの長女のゾーイの運転がすごい!!あんなに下手だったのに…監督も出てるみたいです。ヴィン・ディーゼルファンの方、ちょっと違ったヴィンを見てみてください！

ヴィン・ディーゼルが大好きなので、どうしても贔屓目に見てしまうのですが・・・
今までにない役に挑戦し、子供と奮闘するシーンはなんとも言えず、クスッとしたり、ジーンとしたり。
長さも９０分と子供を交えて鑑賞するには丁度いいと思います。
ファミリー映画なのでアクションは少なめですが、見所はシッカリありました。
