我が家は先にセットを購入しましたが、1本単位でも活躍すると思います。
本当にしなやかに曲がるので、つないだ後にレイアウトを買えるときも他のレールがはずれたりする面倒がないです。
電車もスムーズに進んでいます。（列車を長くしてレールのくねくね道を長くすると動きがちょっとぎこちないですが）

我が家の息子は2歳からずっとぷらレールの大ファンで、その数も車両数、レール数ともに半端ではありません。3歳ぐらいで自らレールを組み立て始めたころ、頭に描いたイメージどおりレールをつなげていき、最後のところで、
「あれ〜、つながらない！」とよく落胆していました。そんなころにこの商品があったら、よかったのになあ、とおもいます。今5歳になり、デザインはますます複雑化しています。その後、これもできる、こんなのもOK、と可能性の幅が広がり、本人のやる気や自信につながっているようです。長い間活躍してくれそうなお勧めの品です。

　いままでこどもなりに　複雑なレールレイアウトを考えると最後は
曲率の関係でつながらなくて　組みなおしたり　親の出番となりました。
このレールでかなり自分で解決できるようになり　自信にもつながっているようです。
　値段的にも一般の販売店の販売価格と見比べても　けっこうお得です。
