確かにハイスピードとしての機能は十分に果たしています。
転送速度もやはり通常のDUOよりも3〜4倍は早いと思われます。
しかし、折角のハイスピードという機能があるのに、512メガバイトでは少ない気がします。
やはりハイスピードというのは、大要量ファイルを転送するのに最適ですから、最低でも1ギガは必要かなと思っています。
現在は、メモリースティックの値段が急激に下がっています。
もし、５１２じゃ足りないと思う方は、1ギガくらいが最適かなと思います。
まぁ、足りると言う方は512でも全然問題ないです。
当然ですが、自分の用途に合わせたサイズを選んでください。

画像保存ONLYならこの容量でも必要十分。
主に古いデジカメU-50で使用するために購入しました。
今まで32MBのデュオ1枚を使っていましたが、さすがにこれでは容量が不足しすぎ…
でも256MBなら469枚(2Mの画質)は保存できるので十分すぎます。
サイバーショットを使用して2〜3M(L判プリント)の画像撮影がメインという方には、
このくらいの容量で丁度よろしいかと。価格も手頃ですし。
携帯でも完全対応しているW41SやSO902iをお使いならお勧めです。

ただ、メモリースティック自体がほぼSONY製品のみでしか使用されていないとか、
多少汎用性が低いこともあり、評価は低くせざるをえません。
