5.0 out of 5 stars 沖縄で開催されたライブのオンエアで出会った２人。, 2006/1/21
昨年の12月にどこの放送だったか、
沖縄のアーティストばかりが集まって開催されたライブ
（もちろん開催地は沖縄のどこかの野外）で
初めてこの二人に出会いました。

スペースシャワーＴＶの録画に見飽きて、
「何かないかなあ」とリモコンで
チャンネルをあっち行ったりこっち行ったりしていると、
この二人の澄み切ったハーモニーが聴こえて来ました。

すぐに「沖縄の子だ」ってわかりました。

夏川りみ、石嶺聡子、BEGIN、
そしてこのやなわらばー。

沖縄出身のアーティストの歌声は
どうしてこんなに澄み切っているのでしょう。

アメリカでもストリートライブをやったらしいですが、
日本語のわからない青い目の外人さんが
立ち止まって涙を流して聞き入っていたとか。

音楽って、こうあるべきという見本のような二人です。

ぜひ、一枚買って、聴いてみてください。

石垣島出身の女性ユニット、【やなわらばー】による癒しのナンバー。
ユニット名は、「悪ガキ」という意味だそうです。

歌詞やメロディーはもちろんのこと、歌声がとにかく素晴らしい☆
沖縄出身のアーティストの多くは、故郷に対する強いノスタルジーを持っているような気がしますが、
やなわらばーのふたりも勿論例外ではありません。

お勧めは、2曲目【青い宝】、4曲目【変わらぬ青】。
どちらも、故郷を想う気持ちを美しく優しく歌い上げています。

　愛する友よ　忘れないで
　あなたが「ここ」で過ごした日々は
　かけがえのない大きな支えとなるはず

全7曲。美しいコーラスと切ないノスタルジーが凝縮されています。

　沖縄の魅力を、若い、新しい視点から見た新鮮な感覚を訴えているような気がします。沖縄音楽は、もううちの亡くなった祖母の時代にもありました。田端の「１９の春」。それが私の初の沖縄音楽でした。そのころは自然も全然傷つける人もなく、まさか自然破壊ということは考えてもみなかったのでしょう。このＣＤでは特に、自然を歌った歌が多いです。美しい自然を破壊したのならば、すぐには元には戻りません。それから何年も、何十年も待たなければなりません。ビギンの歌にも「島ちゅうぬ宝」にも、その自然破壊の現実が書かれていましたが、新聞記事にも、「その新聞記者が、自らがサンゴを傷つけた」と、あり、本土にいる私たちには、うらやましいほどの自然が傷つけられているんだと思うと悲しくなります。「やなわらばー」は、沖縄の美しい自然を守りなさい。とのメッセージソングに聞こえてきてなりません。そう思わせるほど、彼女たちは、将来スーパースターになるに違いありません。是非是非、自然保護を考える人には、聞いていただきたい一枚です。
