2ndGIGは全部見ました。1stから更に深い展開に楽しませてもらいました。
しかし、この巻については疑問符しか残りませんでした。
再編集した総集編ってだけです。で、やはりというか、時間内に収めるために展開が唐突だったりあやふやだったりする場面が見られていまひとつスッキリしません。
初めて観る人にとっては若干意味不明な流れになっている部分がしばしばある気がします。ただでさえ込み入った物語なのに。

いつも思うんですが、この手の再編集総集編って、「ノベルティグッズ」という意味合いのほかに出す意味あるのでしょうか？　SACと名前が付けばそこそこ売れ行きが見込めるので資金回収のために出してみました、という意図しか見えてきません。
そうでなければ、新しいシーンを追加するなりして、編集によって生じた展開の不具合を直すくらいの事はするはずですし。

というわけで、やはり初めて観る人には2ndGIGを最初から、少しずつでも良いので観る事をおすすめします。

DVD全巻持っている人ほど知識はないが、
2ndシーズンは地上波でおおよそ見たのである程度知っていました。
その視点から言えば、序盤が簡潔になりやや急な展開にも感じる。
9課のサブストーリーはオールカットだし、登場人物の心理描写も少し物足りないかもしれない。

しかし、
全体しては前作「TheLaughingMan」よりわかりやすく
2ndシーズンをテンポ良く振りかえるにはなかなか良い作品に仕上がったと思う。

ただし、
映像インタビューと封入ブックレットと重複しているので、特典Discは全く必要ないと感じる。
また、
多くの人に観てもらうという趣旨から言えばこの価格は高い。
他社では3-4枚組みの値段だし、必要のない特典Discで価格が上がっては逆効果。
価格がネックで購入をする人が限定されるのが残念だ。

特典Discはどうしても見るべきものでもないので、レンタルがあるならそれで充分かと思う。

　ストーリーそのものは元々多くのエピソードが複雑に絡み合っていて難解なる作品ですから、ここでは取り上げないことにします。

　この編集版だけを予備知識なしで観た場合にわかりにくい部分を挙げていきますと、前半では
茅葺総理の人物像がぼやけ気味。
後半では
東プロトが総理官邸に突然現れる。
軟禁された茅葺総理救出の経過部分がカットされていて展開が唐突に感じられる。
ゴーダが射殺される場面で一緒にいたメガネの男の正体。

こんなところでしょうか。

　でもこの編集版は全体としては素晴らしい出来だと思います。わかりにくいところはＷＥＢ上に情報が多くありますので、パズルのピースは難なく埋めてゆけるでしょう。
