ラルク2004年3枚目のシングルはこれぞラルク、と言えるtetsuならではの美しいメロディーラインが心地いいポップチューン。

イントロの爽やかなkenのギター、高速のビートを確実に刻むyukihiroのドラム、Aメロのこれでもか、というくらい韻を踏んだhydeの詞、そして曲全体をしっかりと支えるtetsuのベース。すべてが曲の完成度を上げている。まさにメンバー誰一人欠けても完成しえないと言える名曲。

この曲はDIVE TO BLUE, Driver`s high, STAY AWAY などのラルクの王道ともいえるポップチューンの作曲者tetsuが書いたものである。
やはり夏にふさわしく体が自然とノッテくるものなのだが、今回は"勢い"と同時に"切なさ"も同居しているように思われる。
hydeの詩も「愛しい人に会えない時の葛藤」を綴っていて、今までにないくらいストレートな詩になっている。

そしてなんといっても個人的にはyukihiroのドラムが刻む新たなビートに心が震えた。
今までに聞いたことがないリズムが体を揺らし、新たなラルクの世界に誘ってくれる。
再起動第三弾シングル、これからもラルクは音楽シーンの最先端を駆け抜けていくだろう。

耳あたりのいいスピードナンバーが多かった近年のラルクの曲の中でも特に優れていると思います。
hydeの声がBlurry Eyesの頃のような妖艶な声に、HONEYなどのパンク系ボイスを
いいとこ取りしたような歌い方で、かなり聞き惚れてしまいます。
このシングルを聴き、ラルクの集大成、バンドとして確立したのだと思い知らされました。
曲全体を通しても、他のロックバンドと比較しても頭一つ飛び抜けているので文句のつけようがありません。
