頭脳明晰だが腕力も度胸もない･･･検挙率をあげる為に頭脳だけ買われ、刑事に昇格した彼は奮起して潜入捜査員に名乗りを上げる。潜入先は麻薬取引が行われていると上層部が睨んでいる港町・木浦（ﾓｯﾎﾟ）のある組織。組長の恩人とされる受刑者からの紹介状をたずさえ潜入は簡単だと思われたが、意外な理由で思惑はハズレ自力で下積みから始めることになるが、警察ならではの知識を活かし組長の信頼を得ていく。男気がある組長に傾倒していき友情も芽生えすっかり気分は組長の右腕状態。そんなか警察組織とは別に組長を狙う暗殺計画が･･･
主役の刑事（ﾁｮ･ｼﾞｪﾋｮﾝ）は映画「悪い男」で悪い男役をみごとに演じていたが、同一人物とは思えないほどやわらかな表情で最初登場する。潜入先で昇進して彼自身が変わってからは「悪い男」でみせた鋭い眼光の顔つきに変わるのはさすがだ。組長の映画好きでホームシアターで「猟奇的な彼女」をみて涙するシーンや女性検事（潜入捜査の為に刑事と会っているところを見つかり従妹として紹介される）に恋をして一生懸命な姿は微笑ましく笑いを誘う。刑事と女性検事とのやりとりも面白い。
主役の彼の一種のサクセスストーリーというだけでなく友情物語であり、ラブストーリーまで入った笑いあり涙ありの物語。
きっと観終わった後にもう１度みたくなる作品。

「菊花の香り」でチャン・ジニョンの親友、パク・ヘイルへの気持ちを隠して応援するソン・ソンミの姿を見て、
「この人いいなぁ〜」と思っていた人も多いはず。
この映画では「菊花の香り」では見れなかったキュートな部分も見れました。
主演男優の2人もまったく知らなかったのですがいいですね〜
特にチョ・ジェヒョン。はじめと終わりでは別人でないかい？
演技力がなす業なのか、なんなのか、ストーリーにあわせてここまで見せれるものですかね。
韓国映画の俳優さんの演技力には毎回感心させられます。

韓国映画を観ているとしばしば「兄貴　형」なる台詞に出くわします。
特にヤクザの世界で、上司から兄貴と呼ぶことを許された関係は、
私たち異国の、それも市井の人間には理解し難い絆の証のようです。

本作では後輩が、自分の兄貴から自分より強い信任を受けたと知る
マ・ドゥホの、ほとんど泣き出すのではないかと思える表情が秀逸でした。

演じているのは名優ソン・ビョンホ氏で、韓国が誇るチェ・ミンシクさん、ソル・ギョングさん、ソン・ガンホさんと共演し、
彼らに勝るとも劣らない演技力を披露した方です。

主役の潜入刑事に扮したチョ・ジェヒョンさんも韓国きっての名優で、
本作でも難しい役どころをこなしています。

「ナンバースリー」「猟奇的な彼女」などヒット作のパロディも満載で、
一見コメディのようでクセのあるおもしろい映画です。
