この映画の元ネタになった「サンセット大通り」を先に観たことがある方は比較してみる楽しみは捨てた方が正解です。アンディ・ウォーホルの世界感（レーベル）としてエロ・グロ・ナンセンスを極めた手法でまるで日本のATG映画に近い感じです。ただウォーホル映画には主役のジョー・ダレッサンドロがアクセントです。演技は上手いとはいえませんが老若男女受けするセクシーな体つきとティモテ（あえて古い表現で）級に美しい長い髪を持った俳優です。そんな彼が演じるからエロ・グロ・ナンセンスな映画だとしてもポルノにはならないどこか彼の出す気品がウォーホル映画を芸術表現に留めている作用があるかもしれません。
