このアルバムの第一印象は、
とにかくギターアレンジが素晴らしいということだった。
全体を通してかなりアグレッシブなギターフレーズが聴けるが、
決して歌を邪魔することが無い辺りに、非常に高いセンスを感じる。

昨今のロックシーンにありがちな、
上手くまとまってはいるがフレーズそのものが退屈、といったバンドが多い中、
ギターのみに限らず、彼らのシンプルながらアグレッシヴなアレンジは、
本当に素晴らしいと思う。
度々リズムキープが怪しくなるギターもまた味というか、
彼ら独特のグルーヴ感を生み出しているような気がする。

アルバム全体を通してみても、
シンプルながら起伏に富んだ内容となっており、中だるみなどは一切無い。

曲単位で見てみても、
疾走している中でも、どこか焦らした感じがあったり、
メロウな中にも情熱的な雰囲気があったり、
曲の持つテンションを上手く扱っていると感じた。

余分なものを削ぎ落としたシンプルなロックンロール。
とにかくカッコいいです。

ジュースボックスを聴いたときは、これがストロークス！？かとおもいましたが、アルバム全部を聴いたらなるほどと安心しました。
セカンドのメロウな感じに、ファーストのち密な音作りがうまく混じったような曲や、今までにない分厚い音の曲がちりばめられた傑作。
個人的には捨て曲もわずかながらありますが、ジュリアンのヴォーカルも力強くなってて、新しい可能性を予感させる作品。

最初聴いたときは正直あんまり好きになれませんでしたが、何度も聴くたびにどんどん好きになりました。
音が濃くて聴くたびに新たな発見があって面白いです。
ただ、1st、2ndにはあった「thank you」が無くなってたのがちょっと切なかった；；
