正直、このアルバムを手にする前に聴いたことがある曲は、たぶんサン・サーンスのオーボエソナタだけで、しかも10年以上前の知り合いの発表会で聴いたあれはサン・サーンスだったよな、程度の記憶しかない。したがって、初めて聴く曲ばかりと言ってよい。

シェレンベルガーの奏でるオーボエの音色というのは、どこまでも透明で優雅で美しい。確かに、モーツァルトやR.シュトラウスの協奏曲も素敵ではあるし、マルチェロの協奏曲も素晴らしいのだが、このCDに収められている、彼がピアノと対峙したときの音色に陶酔してしまうのは私だけだろうか。

非常にお勧め。☆５。

シェレンベルガーのオーボエの音色はちょっと凄い。CDをかけた瞬間に、サンサーンスの曲のわずか始めの2音で、お部屋の雰囲気はガラッと変わってしまう。自分がこのCDを購入したのが40歳近く、モスキート的な超高音の倍音がケラれて聴こえてるはずなので、もう少し若いころに聴きたかった。本人はどう自己認識してるのか分からないが、数枚追いかけたが、モーツァルトの室内楽、バロック、シューマンあたりよりは、このフランス音楽の盤が最も完成度が高く、演目との相性がいいと思う。

サン・サーンスのソナタでは１，２楽章ではとても優しく歌い上げ、
３楽章では激しく、しかし正確に曲を表現している。

僕が特に気に入ったのは、ボザのファンタジー・パストラール。
フランスのコンセルヴァトワールの卒業試験用に作られた曲
だそうだが、ボザの求めたであろう美しさ、正確さ、
ヴィルドゥオーソ性が完璧に表現されている。
曲自体も素晴らしい。

シェレンベルガーの音色は澄んでいてすごく伸びているのが印象的。
是非実際に聞いてみてください。
