もう布袋寅泰は矢沢とあまり変わらない、固定客へのヒーローっぷりとゆうか、「オレ、キング」みたいな自己陶酔、狭いよ、ほんと狭い、昔何かの雑誌で「オレは誰とでもギターで張り合う自信がある」と言っていたが、え?メタル畑の人?違うでしょ、中途半端なマッチョイズムはやめてほしい、こうゆう中途半端な人はテクや音の作りでもマッチョ系の海外のバンドにすら勝てないだろうし、今メインストリームにいるテクを重視しないようなバンド…例えばレディオヘッドになんて死んでも勝つことなどできないだろう、そしてこの人は死ぬまでそれに気づく事はないのだろう。歌詞や曲名のダサさ、自分ばかり写るジャケのセンスのなさ(このアルバムは違いますが)は80年代から出てきた人だからこれはむしろ許せる、こうゆうものだと思うし、ある意味ノスタルジックでもある、しかしギタリズムが終わってからのこのキングっぷりはあまりに酷い、ボウイのセルフカバー?何のつもりだ、ネタがないんだろ?残りカスまで搾るようなマネはやめろよ、私はボウイの頃からほぼリアルタイムで聴いてきた、そして布袋寅泰はヒーローだった、しかし今、私は布袋寅泰が固定客を含め裸の王様にしか見えない、布袋寅泰はもうギターヒーローではない、ただのオレオレオヤジだ、こんなに…こんなに悲しいことはない。

布袋は何がしたいのだろうか？
どこに行きたいのだろうか？
熱心なファンには申し訳ないが、全て中途半端に見える。
布袋が唄う「BAD FEELING」なんて別に聴きたくない。
「BEET SWEET」もまた同じ。
地に足が着いていない。
二番煎じにしか見えない。

ボーイ時代はよくしらないんで、初めのほうの曲はよくわからないけど
普通のギターロックという感じでした。
スリルは結構カッコイイ感じに編曲されていたので、一番好きなpoisonは
どれだけかっこよくなっているかと期待したら、正直微妙なアレンジでした。
あと、バラードをオーケストラアレンジにするのもありきたりっぽくてイマイチでした。
でも、前のベスト盤に入っていないノクターンNo9とかの前奏はカッコイイし
destiny roseのサビもカッコイイし、identityの前奏もカッコイイので、
全否定されるほどではないと思いますが、前半星一つ、後半五つで３つくらいかなというのが
正直な感想です。
