2005年11月23日にリリースに続き、今度は、「カルマ」がテーマソングになっているナムコプレイステーション2用ソフト「テイルズ オブ ジ アビス」仕様が3ヶ月限定盤として追加リリース!!ゲーム内で展開される様々なストーリーの根底に広く深く根を張る“自分探し”というテーマを、疾走感溢れる重厚かつ繊細なバンドサウンドにのせて高らかに響かせる、珠玉のロックンロール・ナンバーに仕上がりました!!
2曲目は、大地の鼓動の如く刻まれる大らかなビート、大海の水面をしなやかに伝う波の如く奏でられる流麗なアコースティックギター、2つの根源的な音色に包まれながら時に優しく、時に激しく、淡々と切々と歌われる“藤原基央”の歌声が染み渡る名曲「supernova」。

【アーティストについて】
2005年7月21日にシングル「プラネタリウム」をリリース。その圧倒的に美しくPOPなメロディー/サウンドアレンジと、“藤原基央”が紡ぐ言葉の織りなすその余りにも繊細で独創的な詞の世界観は、既発のシングル群のそれを遥かに凌ぐ更に多くのリスナーとの出会いを導き出した。2006年1月13日からは、ツアー「run rabbit run」をスタートする。

ジアビスの終盤でこの曲が流れた時は、正直言って震えました。ここでこの曲を使うのか、みたいな。
ジアビスをプレイした自分にとって、この曲はヤバイです。

曲自体、歌詞が意味深で、爽快感もあり、悪くない曲ですが、
この曲の内容はジアビスをプレイしないと分からないんじゃないかと。

ジアビスをプレイしてからこの曲を聴くと、評価が変わると思います。

supernova/カルマ
のシングルは、
二曲は同じ曲が入っています。
でも、隠し曲が違います。
なので
supernova/カルマをもっている人も
購入したえがいいですよ。
フンドシ　というおもしろい曲が入ってて、
きにいりました(笑)

でも、この商品は今は廃盤です。
なので、ちょっとCD屋を探してみるか、
まだ安い内に中古でも購入しておいたほうがいいとおもいます。

思わず泣いた。泣くことなんか久しぶりだった。本当に純粋に、この曲たちに、藤原基央に出会えてよかったと思えた瞬間だった。まず、supernovaだけど、この一曲だけでも素晴らしいと思う。切ないサウンドと澄み切った藤原さんの声に胸が締め付けられた。世界が巡る理由というのは此処にあったんだなぁと思った。でもこの曲は、両Ａ面シングルのもう片方の｢カルマ｣とあわせることで最大の世界観を生み出す。カルマはsupernovaに比べれば激しいサウンドで、その中で｢此処にいるよ｣と叫ぶ藤原さんに引き付けられた。藤原さんの場所は此処。そう思った。
もしこのCDを買おうか迷ってるなら、勿論買うことをお薦めする。藤原さんの声サウンド世界はまだ此処にあるから。そう安心出来た。
