ソニックシリーズならではのスピード感はとてもよく出ています。
・・・が、その分ただでさえ悪いカメラワークの所為で
暗いステージなどはシャドウが背景と同化してしまうのでどこにいるか分からなくなります。
慣れるまでは結構やられてしまうかも・・・。
しかし、過去の作品とは違い一回のダメージでリングをすべてばら撒くわけではないので、安心して進める事ができます。

過去の作品に出てきたステージと同じ名前のステージがあったりして面白いです。

シャドウ・ザ・ヘッジホッグのサイトからいける開発者ブログにもありましたが、
「ソニック」と「シャドウ」は別物というか、「ソニック」にガンアクションを
足したのが「シャドウ」だと思えばいいのかな、と。

たしかに爽快感という点では「ソニック」とは方向性が違いますが、
ダークな内面を兼ね備えるシャドウのキャラクターはアメコミヒーローのようで、
そこに魅力を感じられれば楽しめると思います。

ただ、ストーリーのルートは非常に多彩なのですが、どのルートでも短いので、
「ソニックアドベンチャー２」のような壮大なストーリーを期待していたら、
肩すかしを食らいました。

ソニックシリーズということで今回購入したのですが、正直期待はずれでした。ソニックシリーズというものは、あの疾走感が楽しいのに、無駄に強い敵や複雑なアトラクションのせいで、気持ちよく走り抜くことができません。これならソニックシリーズで作らないほうが絶対いいです。
ソニックアドベンチャー１・２のときのような、気持ちよく走りぬけ、トリックを決めたりする感じをぜひとも取り戻してほしいものです。
