最初何で露骨に叩かれているのかなあ？と分からなかったので、
ネットでググって調べてみた所、「ああ、そういう事か」と
「ＴＧＭがＴＧＭでない」原因が分かりました。
それは、テトリスのライセンスを管理している会社である
ザ・テトリスカンパニー（設立者がＢＰＳの社長なので実質ＢＰＳ自体）があたかも
「私がルールブックです」みたいに振る舞って、監修したルールが破綻しているというのに
（以前あった「テトリスワールド」ですでに破綻ぶりが証明されたというのに）
ガイドラインとして「このルールに手を加えてテトリスと冠して出してはいけない」
押しつけてその影響がもろに出てしまった、と言う訳です。
アーケード版ＴＧＭシリーズとは明らかにいろんな所がが違いますし。
（あれ？テトリスＤＳと殆ど変わらないなあと最初は思ってしまいましたが）

さらに、昔ＰＳにＴＧＭを出そうとしたら突然先のザ・テトリスカンパニーが
「１ハードに付きリリースできるのは１社まで」と言う唐突な取り決めをして
ＰＳ版ＴＧＭが事実上の発売中止に追い込まれたという事もありました。

なので、文句が言いたいなら、ライセンスを管理しているザ・テトリスカンパニーにも
強く抗議すべきではないのでしょうか。これでは実質ＢＰＳが独占供給している様な物です。
１社がライセンスを独占する事やそれによるサブライセンス制度はこれだから嫌です。
（形態こそ差異はあれどなんだかかつてのプロ野球選手肖像権問題を彷彿とさせるなあ）

しかし、今ゲームセンターを巡り回って「純正のＴＧＭシリーズ」を探してもなかなか置いていないし、
（今ゲームセンターに置いてある「スティックレバーを使うタイトル」と言えば対戦格闘ゲームばかり）
じゃあ、基盤の直接入手はと言うと、これがかなり値が張るらしいとの事です。

ザ・テトリスカンパニーの露骨な振る舞いのせいで何でこんな目に合わなければならないのだろうか・・・
セガテトリスのように復刻版はだせないのだろうか？（現状じゃ無理だろうなあ）
※ちなみにセガテトリスはフラッシュポイントやブロクシードと共にセガエイシズ２５００シリーズでテトリスコレクションの中に収録されています。

xboxライブが楽しくて、テトリスの対戦も楽しいかなと思って購入しましたが、一人で遊ぶときに落下スピードと制限時間が厳しくて楽しく遊べません。

私がぬるい腕前と言ってしまえばそれまでですが、こういうものだったら初心者から上級者まで遊べるように作れるはずではないでしょうか？

腕に自信がある人向きだと思います。

ライブ接続されていない・するつもりはないユーザーにとっては、ノーマルクリアしたところで、際立ったモードが解禁されないので買わないほうが良いです。スコアすら記録されない仕様にも怒りを覚えました。
グランドマスターにこだわるなら素直に基板。こだわらずに単にテトリスがしたいだけの人は、他機種のテトリスを購入することをお薦めします。
