「デジタル録音でフレッシュに蘇る！！」とオビに印刷されてあり、「高品位にデジタルリマスター」したものと思いこんでしまった。聴いてビックリ！新しく録音されたものが約半数ほど入っていた。っとここまではいいのだが、伴奏はシンセ中心のサウンドだし、アレンジも安っぽい。天下のニニロッソにあんな伴奏を付ける製作側のポリシーに疑問を感じる。新録音のニニロッソのペットにはかつての艶と伸びが感じられない･･･それでも、彼のラッパはいい！
LPの時代から楽しんでいた昔からのファンにはこのCDはお勧めできません。
「夜空のトランペット」や「皆殺しの歌」などは昔のオリジナルテイクで聴きたいから。
追：「アドロ」や「シバの女王」などはオリジナルテイクで収録（やはりこうでなくちゃ！）。

私はブラスバンドでトランペットをやっていた。

トランペットといえば、マイルス・デイビスやサッチモ(ルイ・アームストロング)を思い浮かべる人が多そうだが、
ニニ・ロッソを忘れてはいけないよ〜。

「夜空の〜」「夕焼けの〜」「さすらいの〜」はもちろん、
私は「水曜の夜」(日テレの「水曜ロードショー」のテーマ!あの波が漂う黄昏る感じのね。哀愁のある金曜ロードショーではなくて(汗))で即死です。

ポール・モーリアで有名の「シバの女王」「オリーブの首飾り」も収録。
芸人ヒロシで有名な「ガラスの部屋」も(はーと)
そして、日本をうたった自作の「いつか、どこかで、なんとか、チャオ」も収録。

あー、またペット吹きたくなってきた。
