PSPが発表された頃からアナウンスされていたソフトで，マックスが何をしゃべってくれるのかとても気になっていました．

翻訳機能については，シチュエーションを与えておいて用意された例文から話し手の言いたいことを選ぶので，音声認識はそこそこの出来です．しかしながら，ロードに時間がかかるので実際に外国に行ったらジェスチャーゲームで伝えた方が早いんではないかと思います．

私は，翻訳機能にはあまり期待しておらず，マックスのリアクションで大笑いできることを期待していたのですが，リアクションのパタンがあまり多くなく，ちょっと残念でした．

しかし，グラフィックばかり立派になってゲームの本質は一向に変わらない物が多い中で，新しいポータブルゲームプレーヤの可能性を感じさせてくれるゲームだと思います．

発音・聞き取りゲームは◎，翻訳は○，マックスと遊びたい人は△

　レビューの評価があまりよくなかったので、買うのに迷いました。
私は海外旅行が好きで年に３〜４回いくのですが、英語は全くしゃべれません。
英会話学校に行こうと思いましたが、月１マンくらいしますよね。
海外旅行、一人でチケットとって、、、とかする分には不十分かもしれませんが、私のように、ツアーで（終日フリーだったりするツアーです）いく分には十分だと思います。
レストランでも指をさせばよいのだし、一言二言しゃべれれば、問題ないですから。
こんな感じの人だったら大丈夫だと思います。発音ゲームとかたのしいですよ。

思ったのですが、やってみるとう〜ん
色々使いずらいですし、読み込みに時間がかかるのも
イライラ……

ゲームとして購入されるのであればいいかもしれませんが
学習ソフトとしてお考えでしたら
ちょっと考えたほうがいいと思います
