数々のmade for iPodのスピーカーをApple storeにて試聴した結果、このmm50にしました。充電式で外へ持ち運びでき、なおかつホームオーディオとして活用できればと思ったのです。

スピーカー電源の入切時にフェードイン･アウトする親切設計、外部入力端子、リモコン等、こちらが要求したい機能は一通りそろっています。
iPodのタイマーによる電源ONにももちろん対応してますから、目覚まし代わりになります。
しかし、iPodのスリープタイマーによる電源OFFの場合、スピーカー側の電源は落ちませんでした。

やはり、静かなところでまじまじと聴くには、低音部が物足りなく感じますが、このサイズにしてはよい音ですし、コストパフォーマンスは上々だと思います。ちなみに私は家で聴くときはYAMAHAのサブウーファーYST-MSW8で低音部を補強しています。

タイトルのような使い方であれば、何と言っても充電式でポータブルがウリのmm50、買いです。

購入前にWebで見るとコンパクトなため音に不安がありました。が、試してみたところ、その不安はすぐに払拭されました。想像以上にしっかりした音が出ます！満足です。
商品到着後の設定に関しては、本体にAC電源を指し、iPodを乗せればOK。さくっと終わりました。操作面では、リモコンがついているのがGood。
1点だけ残念なことは、リモコンを使ってプレイリストを選べないこと。離れたところから操作することが前提のため無くて当然かもしれませんが。。。実使用では、プレイリスト再生または、シャッフル再生で使うことになると思います。
総じて、コンパクトで場所を取らず、でもしっかりした音が出る商品でお勧めできます！

家電量販店で実物を見て、小さいのに音がいいので購入しました。
で、リモコン付き。それに、Ｉｐｏｄの充電も出来て、スピーカー本体も充電可能の優れものです。
ドックを買って、普通のスピーカーを接続しようかと迷っていましたが、これで十分です。
値段はまあまあですが、この機能なら、他のＩｐｏｄ用のスピーカーなどと比べても、十分お買い得でしょう。
