今更ですが李連杰ファンとして観た訳ですが・・・

李連杰やブリジットのファンではない人でもいい作品じゃないかと思います。
事件に巻き込まれていくスピード感やキレのあるアクション、映像（特に背景が細かく美しい）のどれを取ってもリアリティとまとまり感があって日常の中のちょっとした非現実的なものを感じました。

李連杰と言えば「アクション」ですが、当然この作品でもアクションは光ります。
でもアクション映画のようでちょっと異なる不思議な感覚をおぼえます。

多分それは・・・
舞台はパリで異国に迷い込んだ少年のような中国警察官リュウ（李連杰）と捨てられたやせっぽっちの子猫のような娼婦のジェシカ（ブリジット）。
２人の距離感が少しづつ縮まっていく感じが自然なようで、場面毎に壁がちゃんとあって息が合っているというか。

リュウは作品中殆ど無表情に近いような真剣な顔ばかりだし、ジェシカはアイメイクが凄くて表情が読み取れない場面も沢山あった。

でも、観終わった後リュウとジェシカは物凄く豊かな表情を沢山していたような気がします。眼がいいんだと思う。二人とも。
正に眼は口ほどにモノを言うですかね。

特に最近のをみて好きになったひとにはいいじゃないですか?
追い詰められるところがあったり、立場が入れ替わったり、敵も結構強かったです。

この映画を見ると、TAXiシリーズのジベールみたいな
マヌケ署長が、素晴らしい署長に思えてくるから面白い。

あのマヌケ署長は、マヌケなだけで、そう悪いことは
しなさそうだものね・・。 ←結構、お気に入り(笑)

でも、リチャードみたいな性悪な男に目をつけられたら、
利用するだけ利用されて、後はポイッとゴミ箱行きだ。

いたぶられて殺されて、どうしていいか分からないよ。

だから、リチャードに騙されハメられたリュウさんが、
良くもマァ、ピンチをくぐり抜けるとハラハラした。

最初から、ノン・ストップで面白いし、特に終盤の
キス・オブ・ザ・ドラゴンはカッコ良すぎて最高だ〜！

ブリジット・フォンダとのやりとりで、リュウさんが、
10代の男の子みたいな表情をするのも初々しかった。

少し照れているところなど、ジェット・リーさんの
誠実そうなお人柄を感じて、とてもいい感じだった。
