デビューして５年目に突入する彼らの初ベストアルバムです。
まるでアルバムのページをめくるかのようにいろんな曲が次から次へと流れてきます。いわば彼らの『音楽人』としての成長の記録を耳から感じ取ることができる、そんなベスト盤だと思います。
新曲はデビューミニアルバムのジングルをモチーフにしていたり、初回版のジャケットはデビュー曲のアイデアを使ったり、そういう自分たちの小さなこだわりをちゃんと守って、そしてどんどん声で新しい世界を切り開いていく彼らに心からエールを送りたいです。
ボーナストラック『スターズオンRAG FAIR』を聴いてぜひ声が持つ力を味わってみてください。

アーティスト本人が「迷いこんだ時期があった」と語るように、
第1期と第3期とくらべ第2期（7曲目から12曲目）は
少し統一感が無い感じがします。
本来なら方向が見定まってからデビューするところを、
いささか早産で生まれてしまったからしょうがないとも捉えられますが。
他の方も書いていらっしゃいますが、あれだけライブはいいのにCD作りに関しては粗が見えるんですよね。そこがちょっと勿体無いような。

その代わり、第1期と第3期の楽曲はなかなか名曲が多いです。
特に後半の曲群はメロディはもちろん、アレンジも個々の声質に合わせた大変個性的なアレンジがされていますし韻を踏んだスキャットも面白いです。
次の楽曲に期待をもたせるアルバムではないでしょうか。

一言で言うなら、もうひとつ物足りない感じです。
ベストなので、シングルでの曲がそのままリリースされた順番に入ってて、今までの歴史が分かるような感じ。
初めて聞く人にはとっても親切にできてると思います。
でもファンとしては、楽器使用曲なんかはアカペラのみのバージョンを収録して欲しかったような気もします。
彼らの魅力はやっぱり声のみのパフォーマンスだと思うので。
