5.0 out of 5 stars 攻撃的なへヴィロックンロールサウンドが印象的なアルバム！, 2006/8/4
　スウェーデン出身のロックバンドといえば、一般的にヨーロッパを挙げるのが普通だろう。今回触れるこのハードコアスーパースターもスウェーデン出身のバンドだ。ちなみに本作の「ハードコアスーパースター｣は通算５作目だが、見ての通りアルバムのタイトルが自分たちのバンド名を使っている。

　まず彼等のサウンドスタイルを簡単に説明すると、先輩格のヨーロッパのような北欧らしい哀愁的なロックサウンドとは大きく異なり、いわばモトリークルーといったバッドボーイ系へヴィロックンロールといったようなサウンドスタイルだ。オープニングを飾る(１)は攻撃的なロックンロールサウンドが容赦なく耳に響き渡り、まるで暴走しながら演奏してるかのようなイメージが浮かぶ。(２)(３)も何かをぶち壊すような勢いを感じさせるハード且つワイルドなロックンロールサウンドが印象的だ。本作の中ではメインとなる曲であろう(５)は本作の中では最も完成度が高いへヴィロックンロールでもあり、本作の中では最高傑作曲と言えるだろう。全体的に聴いてみると、彼らが「てめぇら、俺らと一緒にロック聴きながら馬鹿騒ぎしようぜ！」というセリフを音楽で表現しているように思えてくるのは自分だけであろうか？とにかくモトリークルーなどといったバッドボーイ系へヴィロック系アーティストが好きなものにはお勧めできるアルバムといえよう。

また方向性を変えてきた。といってもこの台詞はこのバンドにとってはネガティブな意味にはなりえない。しかも今回は今までと違い、更にヘヴィに、などというよりもまずクオリティが格段に違うのだ。そのため今までのファンも戸惑うことは無いはず。

どの曲もキャッチーで作品として全く隙が無い。
これは売れるだろう。否、売れなければおかしい。

5.0 out of 5 stars 今年度もっとも優れたHRアルバムかもしれない, 2005/12/14
いわゆるバッドボーイズロックンロールで、BUCKCHERRYやBRIDES　OF　DESTRUCTIONなどと同カテゴリーとされている。いみじくもこの３つの新作が今回ほぼ同時期にリリースされたが、今回のこのアルバムは圧倒的なパワーに満ちている。前作までこのジャンル特有のガレージ的な「音がスカスカしていた」面は払拭され、音の厚みはかなりなもの。１曲目のイントロは「？」と一瞬以外に思うものの、そのあとからたたみかけるリフの嵐は鳥肌モノ。メロディも美しくわかりやすく、ＡＣ/ＤＣをリスペクトした曲調もあり、すばらしい。メンバーが雑誌のインタビューで答えた「APPETITE　FOR　DESTRUCTION以来最高のアルバム」とはあながち嘘とは言い切れない・・・必聴アイテム。
