３０年以上経過した今でも、くちずさめる曲

不安な世相を反映しているのか、
それでも明るさを取り戻そうとしている感じがする。

時代背景抜きでも、おもしろい局面で使えるような気がするので、
テレビコマーシャルの担当の方は、ぜひ、ご採用のほど。

古い曲は、コマーシャルで流れると、CDが売れるという。

「恋は風にのって」どう聞いても成就する恋の歌とは思えません。
ここの恋の対象は、生身の人間ではなく、近づけば消える逃げ水、永遠にとどくことの無い
虚空をさまよう何か、みたいなものを感じさせます。

そこには、髪が肩までのびれば済むラブソングと違う、何か
藤原さんの歌声に呪術的な迫力を、大半の曲に日本古来のシャーマンのただ住まいを
感じるのは私だけでしょうか。
岡林さんをはじめ、多くのフォークシンガーがディランに影響うけているわけですが、
風船は風船であって他の何とも違うと、聞きなおしてしみじみ思います。

五つの赤い風船が歌った「遠い世界に」は、昭和４0年代半ばの世相を抜きにしては語れません。
日本の高度成長と共に多くの影響力を世に与え続けてきた「団塊の世代」にとっては多分一番口ずさんだ歌だと思います。国民的フォークとでも言うべき名曲ですね。もっと言えば、当時の若者の「国歌」だったのかも知れません。

当時は、７０年安保闘争のため、日本中の大学で学生運動が燃え盛り、バリケードストなどがありました。「遠い世界に」が大ヒットした時は、そんな時代背景を持っていました。

「遠い世界に」はとても親しみやすいメロディを持っています。１オクターブしか音域はないのですが、覚えやすく温かみのある歌詞、軽快なテンポ、簡単にハーモニーをつけられるコード進行と、ヒットする要素を一杯持っていました。当時各地で行なわれた様々な集会で若者達によく合唱されたものです。時代を映す鏡のような曲でもありました。

今は時代を反映するような曲は生まれなくなりましたね。個人的な関心に分散し、若者が何か大きなうねりというものを生み出すことも無くなりました。

多くの若者に愛された「遠い世界に」をもう一度しみじみと聴いてください。懐かしい思い出が本当に走馬灯のように蘇ってきます。
