先日、カルバイタル　母思いコンサート４に行ってきてそこで
このアルバムに入っている歌を何曲か歌ってくれましたが、
最高の一言です。
夏川　りみさんは涙そうそうで沖縄の歌を歌う人という印象が強くついて
しまったと思います。りみさん自身もそのイメージと大きく違う歌を
歌いたくても歌えてこなかったのだと思いますが、このアルバムはいい
意味で期待を裏切ってくれます。
りみさん自身もコンサートで言っていましたが「力強い」曲で、
りみさんが歌うと歌謡曲ではなく、「りみさんの歌」になるから
不思議です。
本当にお勧めです。

「涙そうそう」のヒットからどんどん大きくなって行く夏川りみですが、「ココロツタエ」によってこのアルバムでは沖縄色を超えて世界に通用する歌唱力で日本を代表する歌姫になった感じがします。彼女の透き通るような唄声を聴いていると心が癒されいつまでも聴いていたいと思う程です。このアルバムでは沖縄色、日本、世界感すべての曲において夏川りみの唄声は癒しと優しさと勇気を与えてくれる作品達だと思います。

一年ちょっとぶりの待望のNEWアルバム。前作『風の道』は脱沖縄路線というカラーが強かったように思われるが、
今回は沖縄への回帰あり飛躍ありでじつにバラエティに富んだ内容になっている。
楽曲によって巧みに歌い分けていることがよくわかり、ヴォーカリストととして着実に実力をつけている気がする。
シンプルな伴奏でアカペラのような感じで唄ってくれる曲もいいが、派手めなオーケストラで朗々と歌いあげる曲もまたいい。
いずれにせよ、CDの枠では彼女の魅力は収まりきれない。ライブに行くのがまた楽しみになった。
