　今までとまったく雰囲気の違う１・２曲目を聞いて驚きました。
　いまだにどういう感じなのかうまく説明できないです。ってこれじゃレビューになってないですね。

　石井さんのコーラスが無いからでしょうか、アレンジやサウンドのせいでしょうか、ボーカルの印象が今までとは全然違う感じ。
　深みがあるというか、存在感があるというか。
　とにかく、今までの感じとは一味も二味も違います。
　簡単に聞き流すことを拒むような、今までのように思わず口ずさんでしまうような曲ではないです。
　
　後半は、いつもの空気公団の感じに戻るんですけれども、これまた今までと全く同じ感じではないです。
　とにかく空気公団としての成長みたいなものを感じます。
　本人たちも言ってたけど、曲に包容力が出てきたってことなんでしょうか。

　未だ全てを掴みかねていますが、とにかくまず、これから行われるライブを見てみたい。
　そこにはどんな空気公団がいるのか見てみたい。
　非常にそんな気を起こさせるアルバムです。

第一期の空気公団は童謡のような懐かしさとサイケでディープな音響という
相反する要素が互いに前面に前面に出た、モロに細野チルドレンな作風
でしたが、活動再開初となる本作はどちらかというと音響のイメージは
薄めで、どちらかというと生楽器の鳴りを意識した抑え目のものです。
しかし曲が素晴らしい。「これ反則！」と言いたくなるような
甘い懐かしさをかきたてる５０〜６０年代の英米ポップスのような名曲ばかり
入っています。どの曲も手癖でつくったような曲調なのですが、そのせいか
曲が今まで以上にのびのびしている感じを受けました。ザ・バンドの
「ミュージック・フロム・ビッグ・ピンク」は「日曜日の朝の音楽」と
言われましたが、本作は「休日に広い公園に生きたくなる音楽」とでも
言えるような自然にわき上がる楽しさみたいなものがあります。
個人的には（４）がギターはカッコいいわ歌は淡々と染み入るのに
弾むような明るさがあって聴かせてくれるわでお気に入りです。
前作とのギャップから、今作は10ccの「愛ゆえに」のように
クリエイターからポップ職人への転換となるポジションに位置している
のかなと思いましたが、歌詞のイメージといい、彼女たちは
はっぴいえんどのフォロワーでもあるわけで、これもまだ引き出しの
ひとつに過ぎないんじゃないんでしょうか。まだ予想できる展開
なのかな〜とも思ったり。
甲高い声や甘ったるい声を一切使わずに乾いたポップな表現が出来ている
女声バンド〜ユニットってけっこう稀少な存在なので、できる限り長く
良い作品を作っていって頂きたいです。

心躍らせていたのも束の間、一聴して驚いた。私が変わったのか、空気が変わったのか、今まで空気（だけ）がもっていた輝きがまるで感じられなくなってしまった。ひとつひとつ曲がまるで届かない…邦楽で好きなアーティストってほとんどいないから、とてもがっかりしました。
