選曲はバランスがよくて、上記の写真を見るとライブも楽しそう。「エイトマン」をロックンロール、「檄！ 帝国華撃団」をワルツで仕上げたりと、アレンジもなかなか意欲的。このデビュー盤が出てまだ半年もたってませんが、次のアルバムも聴いてみたいです。
だけど、演奏の部分でちょっと難があるかなぁ。一発録りなのか分かりませんが、ドラムとベースが乖離してる部分が目立つし、Tbのピッチも改善の余地がありそう。せっかくノッて聴いててもつまずいてしまうのです。
もっとうまくなると、もっと“何も考えないで楽しめる”と思うので、期待してます。

傑作です。
アニソンのジャズアレンジは他にもいろいろありましたが、こんなにおバカで楽しいのは初めて。タイトなクリヤマコトやムーデイーなMJQも好いけど、アレンジの肩透しっぷりがお見事。track6やtrack11は元々ジャズ系の曲だったのでまぁ、こんなもんかなって感じだけれども、ちっともロマンチックじゃないタッチとか、ちっとも勇ましそうでない帝国歌劇団とか、まるでニヒルでないエイトマンとか・・・。大勢でワイワイやりながら楽しめる名盤です。パーテイーのBGM、運動会のBGMに是非お勧め。

若い女の子が集まったビッグバンド形式の演奏集団。
さしずめ女子十二楽坊のブラスバンド版というところだろう。
アニメソング（それもなつかしの）をブラスアレンジするという発想はすごくいい。
アレンジの種類もジャズ・スカ・ラテンと多岐にわたっていて飽きないが、
あえて苦言を呈するとすれば「若い女の子のバンド」というビジュアル面の強みに
甘えてる面があるということだろう。演奏もまだ成長する余地があるし、アレンジも
原曲に忠実すぎる感じがする。もっと原曲の原型を壊すくらいのスイング感や
グルーブ感のあるアレンジが欲しいところだ。
とはいえ方向性としては素晴らしく可能性があるいいバンドだと思う。
今後彼女たちが伸びるか否かはビジュアル面に頼らない演奏ができるかどうかにかかっている。
