以前のバージョンで、延長キーを購入後しばらくして不具合が発生。
つまり、購入して一年ちょっとだった訳ですが、既にメーカーサポートが終了していて、問い合わせすらできず、非常に困りました。

つまり、今回２００６の発売で２００４のサポートは終了しています。
２００４を発売と同時に買った人でない限り、延長キーを購入した人の大半はすでにサポートを受けられません。何かトラブルがあっても
ＦＡＱなどを参考に自力で何とかしなければなりません。
メールを送ることさえできないんですからちょっとひどいですよね。
要注意です。

以前からノートンを使用していましたので2006年版を購入してみました。2005年版と比べると若干ですが動作が軽くなっいる気がしますし、説明書やインストール方法などもこれが本当にノートンか？と言うくらい簡単になってきていると思います。ただし今回からプロテクションセンターなる物が付いてきました。いろいろな保護の状態を知らせてくれますが、これが状態を確認し終わるまでの間しばらく待たされます。これ要らないです。また動作自体も軽くはなってきていると思いますが、他メーカーと比べるとやっぱり重いですね。ウイルスバスター2006とウイルスブロック2006も使用していますが、比べてしまうと重く感じてしまいます。

PentiumD 3.2GHz。
メモリDDR2-533の1Gを2枚。
WindowsXP HOMEをクリーンインストール。
直後の起動時間はメモリチェック終了から38秒。
SystemWorks2004をフルインストールすると58秒。
antivirus2006に乗り換えると、100秒ちょっとかかるようになりました。
このまま2006でいくか、2004に戻すか悩んでいます。
