着実な成長を感じさせる3枚目のシングル。前回のシングルに続き、「恋の魔法」のアレンジを担当した松岡モトキの言葉を借りれば、彼女は“聴く人の緊張をほどき、忘れかけていたものを思い出させる”歌声の持ち主である。タイトルからも想像できるその歌の世界は、孤独な心や悲しみさえも包み隠さずに提示することで、逆にポジティヴな印象をあたえるというものだ。陰陽でいえば陽の部分がかなり前面に出ている音楽であり、何かとせちがらいことの多いこの時代にあって、彼女はけっこう貴重な存在なのではないかと思う。 (高橋宏文) --- 2005年12月号

昨年、ＦＭ放送の月間推薦曲に選ばれて何度も流れていたのを偶然耳にして、その切ない歌詞と透き通るような歌声に、発売日を指折り数えて待ち購入しました。

もう10年以上も前、こんな私なのにこれほど愛されていいのだろうかという最高の恋愛を経験しましたが、その時の彼女なら、きっとこの歌を心をこめて歌ってくれたでしょう。
運命の出逢い、そしてその心の激しい思いを、単なるオノロケや淡い言葉でなく、実に適切に表現し、尚且つ素晴らしい曲に仕上げています。
これほどの名曲、そしてこれほど素敵な歌声を持ちながら、新進ミュージシャンの歌だけに、まだ多くの人に知られていないのが残念でなりません。
そうしたことが、これほど惜しいと感じたのは初めてです。

「時に天は二物を与えるのだな・・」
彼女を見ていると、心からそう思う。

彼女の曲はほぼ全てクオリティが高いが、
自分の中ではこの曲が現時点で最高。
特に最近の曲で、こんなに「詩」が胸に来たのは久しぶり。
多くの方に聴いて欲しい名曲です。

アルバムを持っている方も、アレンジはシングルの方が
バンドサウンドでかっこいい。両方聴くのをお勧めします。

その全てが超一流に超最高！！
