掲載されている曲番にかなり変動がありますが
私的には8.9.10が最高にスキっ♪♪
深夜に聞きたい一枚にストックされましたｗ
しかし･･･Jaheimのアルバムは聞けば聞くほど
良さがにじみ出てきて身にしみる(?)
というかなんと言うか･･･
現時点でココで試聴できないのが残念です!!

一作目と二作目のインターバルは短かく、二つとも大変良作であったjaheimなので、長い時間をかけてつくった三作目はどんな出来かととても楽しみにしていた。だって名前が「Ghetto classics」だもの。
しかし、正直なところ前二作より出来は悪い。『クラシックと銘打つものに限って実際クラシックになるようなものはないよなぁ』、、などとわかったような事を隣の人に言われても文句は言えないかもしれない。
この作品に並ぶのはスケールが大きく、心は希望に満ち溢れた楽曲群だ。jaheimの魅力というと、硬派なビートを低く太い声でうめきささやくような歌だろう。その粉っぽさというか、そんなハードさと若さのミスマッチ感がなんとも言えず良かった。
前二作との比較においては、ファンとしてどうしても全体として満足できない部分があるのが残念だが、全ての楽曲が悪いわけではなく、＃７など数曲は唸らせる出来だ。不謹慎かもしれないが、jaheimは落ち込んだりつらい気分のときにこそ凄くカッコイイ曲を作れるのではないか。だからそうなって欲しいとは言わないが、ハードなjaheimを再現して欲しいとは強く思う。

今回jaheimは初めてじっくり聞きました。タイトルがＧＨＥＴＴＯ ＣＬＡＳＳＩＣＳとなっていますね。日本語では、昔からのブラックミュージックの音楽を捩った意味なのでしょうか？ちょっと難しいですが。
肝心の音のほうは、80年代ごろのブラックコンテンポラリーサウンド
（当時はコー言っていました。）を下敷きに、スケールが大きい、ミディアム系、バラード中心の楽曲構成となっています。
個人的にはもっともブラックミュージックを聴いていた80年代頃、音的にはマービンゲイ、カシフ、ルーサーなど自分がもっとも好きな人達の姿が見え隠れします。その辺がＣＬＡＳＳＩＣＳなのかなーと思ってしまします。とにかく、いい声をしていて、歌は本当にうまい。
曲的には3.4.5.7．が特に気に入っています。取り分け7.は近年でまれに見る名バラード、渋くて、ディープで最高です。
この若さでこんなエグイ色の音を出している人は、あんまりいないのでは？
