   ロン・ハワード監督が、時のスター・カップル（現在は離婚）を起用してお届けするアドベンチャー・ロマン超大作。撮影にはかつての大型映画の象徴でもあった70ミリ・フィルムが用いることで、劇場公開時はクライマックスの幌馬車レースなど、久々に本物の70ミリ映画の醍醐味を堪能することができた。また、大国になりかける直前の古き良き時代のアメリカを舞台にすることで、現代ではなかなか表現しづらい希望や夢といった要素を再び映画的躍動感を持って描くことに見事に成功している。正にハワード監督ならではの映画愛に満ちた傑作である。（的田也寸志）

まず初めに長編映画だけど見ていて疲れがきませんでした。
貧乏人の主人公と金持ちのヒロインを本当に対照的でヒロインは洗濯の仕方も
知りません！！
その点、主人公は貧乏ながらも卑屈にならず常に生きていく為、それでいて夢に向かって前向きです。最初は使用人の主人公に命令口調のヒロインも時が経つにつれて惹かれていきます。苦しいながらも順調だった二人ですが・・・。
どん底に突き落とされて他人の家に侵入し金持ちの気分を味わう場面は本当に
涙が出ました。
「え！」って思わず言ってしまいそうになるラストは長編映画ながら本当に最後まで観て良かったと思わせるラストでした。
買って損は無いと思いますので自分的にはお勧めです。
※恋人と観ると良いかもしれませんね！！

相当面白いですよ。有名な映画じゃないんだけど・・・☆5個です。

なにかテーマがあるっていうのではないので
観ればわかりますとしか、いえないんだけど。
トムクルーズとニコールキッドマンの相性がピッタリです。

舞台はどんなものでも
お金持ちのお嬢様（ニコールキッドマン）と、
貧乏青年（トムクルーズ）の
どんでん返しが結末のラブストーリーは
ふつうにドラマとして面白いですよね。

土地を手に入れたい
青年の夢はかなうのか。

最後のクライマックスはみどころです。
退屈はしません。

トムクルーズはこういう
エンターテイメント映画を盛り上げてくれますね。
