　「Mr.BOO ! DVD-BOX」のレビューで「是非ＤＶＤ-ＢＯＸ第２弾を望みます！！！！」・・・と書いたのだが、まさにその通り、いやそれ以上の内容でＢＯＸ２が発売に！！！！素晴らしい！！！！

　特典盤も楽しみだが、当ＢＯＸに収められた映画７作はどれも「香港人情喜劇王」許冠文のヒット作ばかり、中でもお勧めはやっぱり「ホンコン･フライド･ムービー」だろうか。香港に実在する鴨料理店がモデルで、許冠文は実際にその店で鴨の料理法を学んだという。

　また「死ぬまでに３兄弟が揃って出演する映画をもう一度見たい」という父親の願いを適えるために製作したと言われる「フロント・ページ」は、その原題「新半斤半両」が示すとおり、基本的構成はMr.Boo第１作のリメイク。許冠文映画にフル出演を果たしたのは９年振りとなった許冠傑の主題歌も聞かれ、原点回帰！！！やっぱりMr.BOOはこうでなきゃ！！！･････ところが不思議なことにこの「フロント・ページ」、3兄弟揃い踏みにも関わらずなぜか邦題に「Mr.Boo」が付かない。許冠文単独出演の「お熱いのが･･･」「チョコチップ」には「Mr.Boo」のシリーズタイトルが付いているにも関わらず。

　邦題つながりでいえば「帰ってきたMr.Boo！ニッポン勇み足」がこのＢＯＸに収録されなかったのは少々残念。この「勇み足」の英語題は「Mr.Boo Meets Pom Pom」、つまり日本独自のタイトルであった「Mr.Boo」が本家でも採用になってしまったという稀有な例。その他にも、日本未公開だが'75年香港興収トップの「天才與白痴」、ショウ・ブラザース時代の軍閥コメディなど、許冠文にはまだまだ佳作傑作が。日本人受けは難しいかもしれないが、ここまできたら許冠文作品の全制覇（？）を目指してＢＯＸ３を希望！！！

DVD日本未発売、ビデオでも見つけるのが難しい作品群が全てDVDになるとはまったく予想しなかった嬉しい展開

ところで毎度楽しみな広川太一郎氏の日本語吹替が入っているのは
何故か
ユニバーサルピクチャーのホームページでは
「ホンコン・フライド・ムービー」「ミスター・ココナッツ」「フロント・ページ」の3つとなっており
Amazonの単品のところを見ると
「新Mr.BOO!お熱いのがお好き」「新Mr.BOO!香港チョコチップ」の２つとなっております
どっちが正しいのだ？

私の所有している「お熱いのが~」のビデオには広川氏の吹替が入っているし、「ホンコン~」はともかく「ミスター~」や「フロント~」に日本語吹替版があったかどうか・・・この３作品のマイナー度から言ってもAmazon説が正しそう
しかし、発売元が間違えるとも思えないし・・・

まぁ一番いいのは全部に入ってることなんですけどね(^｡^)

とにかく待ち遠しいなぁ
前回のMr.Boo-Boxから半年、実にすばらしい企画です
しかし前回の5000セット売りきれてないんだな・・・
日本にこれを買う人が5000人いないとは・・・悲しきかな

Mr｡BOOは知っているけれど、ここらになると
知らない人がぐぉーんと増える。だけど、待っていた人もたくさんいたはず。
シリーズ以外の”ココナッツ”など、背景を知るともっと楽しめるようなものもありますが、
（”チョコ”も”お熱い”も3人そろって出てないけど、大人の事情でBOOの冠かぶってますね）
Mr.BOOの笑った後にちょっとジーンと来るような、
（焼き直しと言われればそのままだけど）
”ホンコン・フライド・ムービー”が私は特に好きです。
かっこいいんだか悪いんだか分からない、特別出演のサミュエルの姿も拝めますしね。
もちろん、新半斤半両、”フロント・ページ”のタイトル曲もいいですよー。

香港版の”フライド”と”フロント”も少し前に発売されたのですが、
これが信じられないような画質で、それを知らずに即座に購入、
あまりのひどさに寝込んでしまったので、
このデジタルリマスター版の画質には期待！
あぁ、日本版でるなら早く教えて欲しかった…。
