終戦記念60周年を記念して壺井栄の不朽の名作を黒木瞳の主演でドラマ化。昭和3年。小豆島の岬の分教場に赴任した“おなご先生”こと大石久子と、彼女が受け持った12人の小学生との20数年に渡る交流を通して、平和の尊さと教育の本質を問う。

5.0 out of 5 stars ”小栗旬君好演”, 2007/10/30
小栗旬君目当ててで購入しました。大石先生の生徒役で唯一男子で戦争から帰還したが失明しマッサージ師の仕事をしている役どころです。最近のドラマに出演している旬君とは違ってその役をけなげに一生懸命に演じているのが印象的でした。年齢的にも若いのでちょっと今の旬君とは違って見えますが、やさしくその役を演じている旬君が好きです。この作品は「戦争の悲惨さ」と「戦前の軍事教育の過ち」を黒木瞳さん演じる大石先生が見事に訴えているすばらしい作品だと思います。このドラマをみて旬君も好きだけど平和のありがたさを感じました。

戦前の小学校１年生から、戦後大人になるまでの「人間」が描かれていて、とても考えさせられました。小さな子供たちがそれぞれの家の事情で、それぞれの深い悩みをもちながら成長していくこと。戦争に翻弄されながら死んでいくこと。それを見守り、その一方で自分も苦しみ続ける「おなご先生」。
子供たちのかわいさが切なくて涙が出ました。また、「ことやん」を演じた蒼井優さんの演技がすばらしかったため、彼女が亡くなるシーンは本当に涙があふれました。
ただ、先生と子供たちの本当に深いつながりがもう少し見たかったかなという感じです。
でも、戦争を知らない世代である私でも、戦争について深く考えるきっかけとなったすばらしい作品です。

黒木瞳も良かったし、子役も、演技とは思えないような
素朴な台詞および表情でよかった。でも、やっぱり、
蒼井優さんの演技に触れないわけにはいきません。
ほんの１シーンの登場ですが、これ以上にない切なさ
が伝わってきて、涙なしでは見られません。このシーン
だけでも見る価値はありますよ！
