データを他人から読めなくし、データやパソコンを盗まれても安全にするセキュリティソフト。導入時にセキュリティ上重要なフォルダやファイルを暗号化し、それ以降は、パソコン起動時にパスワードを入力してログインした時だけ、暗号のかかったデータを通常と同じように扱えるようにする。そのため万一、ウイルスやスパイウェアにデータを外部に送信されたり、パソコンを盗まれても、判読される心配がない。また、保護したいファイルは保護したマイドキュメントに保存すれば、自動暗号化されるので、毎回、暗号をかけたり解除したりする手間もなく大切な個人情報を保護できる。毎回のパスワード入力が面倒な方は、USBメモリなどをキーとして登録すると、キーを挿すだけで、パスワード入力を省略可能。さらに、個人情報や機密情報を消去するデータシュレッダー機能を使うと、復元ソフトなどで復元される心配なく、安全にデータを消去できる。また、ログオン・パスワードは、アカウントごとに設定できるので、パソコンを共有している家族のプライバシー確保にも有効。
