あまり雪の降ることのない地方に住む方におすすめです。

タイヤチェーンは機能・価格・耐久性など、どれを重視するかで選ぶと
いいと思います。あまり使うことがなく、価格を抑えたい場合には
昔からあるチェーンタイプのものを、耐久性や取り回しに重点を置きたい
場合には非金属のタイプなど、今は多くの選択肢があるので、自分に
合ったものを選ぶといいでしょう。

この「バイアスロンアスリート」は、簡単にタイヤに取り付けることが
できて、なおかつグリップ力も高く、耐久性にも優れています。
前述の各種タイプのいいところをうまく取り入れた商品と言えます。

簡単に取り付けられるとはいえ、やはり「購入→実戦配備」は控えたほうが
いいでしょう。何度か安全な場所で取り付けを練習することをおすすめ
します。私の場合は初めてタイヤに取り付けたときは１時間ほどかかりました。
しかし１度でも取り付けを経験していると、片方約３〜４分ほどで取り付け
られるようになります。パーツのチェックも兼ねてやってみましょう。

取り付けて走行した感じですが、チェーンに比べて振動も少なく、凍りついた
路面ですべるといった感触もありませんでした。安定してます。
雪の少ない道路を低速で走行すると振動や音が大きく感じられますが、
時速40キロ程度で走行すると驚くほど静かになります。しかしながら説明書に
書いてあるとおり、時速50キロ以上での走行や「急」のつく動作は禁物です。

お値段も手ごろで、性能もよく、耐久性も十分ということなので、この季節には
ぜひとも車に装備しておきたい商品です。備えあれば憂いなし。
