たまたま見ていたNHKのてれび絵本で、この｢あらしのよるに｣が放送されていました。

暗闇の中で、お互いの正体を知らずに会話をするオオカミとヤギ。
すっかり仲良くなったふたりは｢あらしのよるに｣を合言葉に決めて、再会の約束をする。
お互いの正体を知ったふたりは、いったいどうなるのか・・・。

見ているうちにすっかり惹き込まれてしまいました。
この一話だけで完結かと思っていたのですが（実際絵本の方でもその予定だったらしいですが）、ちゃんと続きがありました。
その後のストーリーでの二人の友情や信頼、心の葛藤は、見ていて切なくなったりハラハラしたり、嬉しくなったりします。
また、絵本の絵柄をそのまま生かした映像は、とても可愛らしくほのぼのしていて素敵です。
もう一度最初から見たいなぁとずっと思っていたので､今回のDVD化は本当に感激しました。
映画の方も楽しみです。
できればハッピーエンドがいいな。

この「てれび絵本」という番組は、子供が母親に読んでもらうかのように、絵本をテレビで朗読する内容です。
この番組を通して、知らなかったすばらしい絵本を知り、朗読されている人たちの表現力に感動しました。
その中でもこの「あらしのよるに」は秀逸です。

中村獅童さんがガブ、メイ両方の声を担当されているのですが、本当に感動的です。
映画のほうももちろん楽しみですが、まずはこちらを一見してみてはいかがでしょうか。
この作品は絵本では６作品をもとにしていて最後には重い結末が待っていますが、実は７作目が出版されています。
「まんげつのよるに」
二匹の物語は、この作品で本当の結末を迎えます。
子供に読んであげたい、そして大人にもおすすめの作品です。
