5.0 out of 5 stars ウィリアムワイラー監督の傑作, 2005/12/29
はるか昔にテレビで見て、ずっと探していた作品。今まで「探偵物語」で検索すると松田優作しか出てこず困っていた。
「ローマの休日」のウィリアムワイラー監督の傑作の一つと思う。
ビリーワィルダー監督の「アパートの鍵貸します」と共にこの時代の
ニューヨークを舞台又は主題にした映画として見ている。
その意味で「グッバイガール」、「ワーキングガール」、「ゴースト」などを続けて見ると時代の移り変わりを感じる。最近カークダグラスがロシア系アメリカ人だと知るまでずっとこの映画からイタリア系アメリカ人だと思っていた。
今回見て、「刑事コジャック」がこの作品をベースに作られている事を再認識した。
エレノアパーカーが本当にきれい。
