通夜にも参列されてました「同級生」三浦友和や、
らしいコメントを出していた泉谷しげるなんかが参加しています。
発売当時は、その発売経緯が話題になったのと同時に、
桑田佳祐がシークレットで参加しているのも話題になってました。
（バラバラバラバラってのとサントワマミイって唄ってます。）

でもそんな豆知識を言いたかったわけではなく、
桑田もボウイもブルーハーツもミスチルもユニコーンもゆずも
化粧している人たちもベイベーとか言ってる人たちも
キヨシローがいなければって話だと思います、ホントに。
日本のロック界にとっては手塚治虫並みの存在だと思います。
なんでもっと追悼番組とかしないんだって苛立ちすら覚えます。

ＲＣの流れとはちょっと違うけど、
清志郎のキャリアとしては、大変重要なアルバム。
今となっては最後の「イマジン」が胸にきますね。
感謝します。


追記
「素晴らしすぎて発売できません」という伝説のコピー。
発売当時は「何ば言いようとや！」って、
そのレコード会社に対して怒ってた。
でも自分が社会人になった今となっては、
「悔しかったんだろうな、その会社の現場の人たちは」
って思える。
それがあの名コピーになったんだろうなって、
勝手に解釈している今日この頃です。

...清志郎さんが亡くなって、あらためて今このアルバムを聞きなおしました。そして、とても驚いているのですが、ぼくにはこの作品が約２０年も前に作られたとは思えません。恐いくらいに今のこの世の中の事を歌ってると感じました。ここで清志郎さんが言ってることが、何ひとつ解決してないんじゃないかと...。清志郎さんは昔からずっと、自分の感じた事や、これってちょっとおかしいんじゃない？と思った事をただ冷静に、リアルに、鋭く、真面目に、ふざけて、ブレずに、素直に、でもＨに、表現してきた人だなぁと、勝手だけどそう思っています。...すんません、まともなレビューになってないかも知れませんが、まだ聞いた事がない人がいたら、本当に、ちょっとした興味本位でもいいから聞いてみて下さい。どんな年代の人でも何か一つは心に引っかかってくる歌や言葉があると思います...。

カバーソング集。発売についてはいろいろあったのですが、
もう説明するまでも無いでしょう。
原曲を知っている曲もありますが、このアルバムで初めて知った曲も
あり、自分にはそれらの曲がオリジナルのようなものになっています。
たとえば１曲目「明日なき世界 」は原曲を聴いた事がありませんが、
たぶん今自分が原曲を聴いても清志郎の日本語詞や熱いボーカルで
聴いた時以上に心を動かされる事はないと思います。
まだ聴いてない人は是非一度聴いてみてください。
