外に向かって高く表現された作品ではなく、
内に向かって深く表現された作品。
楽曲に芸術性を感じる。

今までのASKAの集大成のような作品であり、
他のミュージシャンには真似の出来ないオリジナリティーがある。
「ポピュラー音楽」の枠にはおさまらないような一品。

久しぶりにいい音楽を聴いた。
文句なしに星5つ。

ソロとしては7年振りとなる、オリジナル・アルバム！製作に1年を費やした力作！作品はあの、『Sceneシリーズ』の第3弾！91年に「はじまりはいつも雨」を収録してミリオンヒットを記録した名盤『Scene II』から実に14年ぶりの続編発表となります。

前2作はバラードアルバムという色合いが強かったのに対し、今作は彼が14年間通過してきた音楽性がプラスされ、よりバラエティ豊かな内容に仕上がっているようです。楽しみです。
2000年にリリースしたシングル「Goodtime」、2003年にリリースした「心に花の咲く方へ」のリアレンジ・バージョンを収録するほか、「はじまりはいつも雨」の続きのストーリーが描かれた楽曲である「愛温計」を収録だって、聴き応え有ると思います。

人の記憶というのは不思議なもので悲しい事のほうが残りやすい。他人から見ればたいした事柄でなくても本人にしてみれば「心」は深い悲しみのSCENEの中にいる時がある。時間は経過してても、「心」では悲しみの時、悲しみの場所に居続けるなんてことも多い。ＡＳＫＡはそんな「心」の場面を切り取って歌にしているのではないかと思う。だからＡＳＫＡの歌にはよく慰められます。歌詞の中には慰めの言葉があるわけではないけど、癒され、励まされます。ＡＳＫＡが作り出す音楽の独特の「空気」、独特の言葉選び、これはカラオケで歌ってみるとわかりますが、人間の痛みや切なさをリアルに喚起させる歌ばかりです。
